Oak City Summer 2022 Session and Fall 2022 Session

Oak City Lacrosse will host skills and inter-squad competition from August 27 - November 5 on Wednesday evenings (6:00PM-7:30PM in Sept and 5:30-7PM in October) and for 1.5-2 hours on Saturday mornings during the 8AM - 12 Noon time frame.

The 10 week training season is for new and experienced lacrosse players who want to learn lacrosse or improve their lacrosse skills.

Oak City's Fall trainings focus on individual player skill development (technical training) and small group/team skill development (tactical training). Oak City will also try and incorporate some physical performance training (speed/power) related to lacrosse athletic development.

We will train cohorts in the following grade groupings, based on Fall 2022 Grade based training.

Grade 1-2

Grade 3-4

Grade 5-6

Grade 7-9 MS team training. - 7th grade players will be evaluated by coaches and invited to train and play with the MS team or (if they are smaller/newer players) with the Grade 5-6 program depending on their lacrosse skill and their physical abilities.

Most 7th graders will train with MS team and both 7th and 8th Grade players MUST play in Spring of 2023 (regardless of lacrosse experience) with the MS team.

We will train at Blue Jay Point Park for Fall 2022.

For Fall 2022, we regret that we are NOT able to provide a refund to participants once the season has begun, but we will refund any payments made if the Fall season is cancelled before the first training or if you withdraw before the Fall season begins. If the season is interrupted, we will attempt to resume the season once the interruption has passed.
